I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where

Sharron and Steve built their forever home on their farm in Cowaramup, and couldn’t think of a more perfect place to get married than in their garden.

To make it that extra special though, they hired the chapel to get married in.

Stephen told Celebrant Anita Revel of a vivid memory, of him standing in a doorway, and Sharron getting ready to leave for work, and he said, “I could marry you!”, and Sharron replied, “I can see myself married to you too.”

This reminded Anita of a quote “I love you simply” by Pablo Neruda, which she read during their ceremony.

I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where.
I love you simply, without problems or pride:
I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this,
in which there is no I or you,
so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand,
so intimate that when I fall asleep your eyes close.

The couple describe themselves as opposites, but that is what makes them a great team.

And then there are things that they both absolutely agree on…

  • They are both thinkers and considerate of each other’s feelings.
  • They like to discuss things before a decision is made.
  • They have both made mistakes in the past, which has made them better people today.
  • They are older and wiser today, inseparable, and making a lot of fantastic memories together.

Sharron and Steve, I trust that getting married in Big Love Tiny Chapel will be a cherished memory forever 😀

(As will be the way the champagne was opened later — with a sword!)
